At MIT University on 17.11.2017 training was held on the topic "PROCUREMENT OF PROCUREMENT, BUSINESS RISKS AND CONTROL" by lecturers from the Association of Internal Auditors of Macedonia. In this proactive and intensive training, trainees have learned the entire procurement process with all of its stages from the moment of planning to its final realization, as the most common types of procurement frauds and models for establishing effective systems for internal control occur. In this way, the competence for the procurement process and the ability and recommendations for mitigating the risks of fraud is enhanced. In addition, the participants were introduced to incorporate their own risk and internal controls with the expertise of a quality operating process. Trainees received good advice on how to exercise professional assurance and counseling, achieving a positive impact in their future career and improved success for their organization. Students from the first and second cycle of studies and part of the teaching staff at MIT University took an active part in this training. The lectures and exercises within the training developed fruitful discussions and debates between lecturers and trainees. At the end of the day, for the successfully passed training, all participants were awarded Certificates for participation.
